Comedy fans in the Copper Country will have to wait a while longer to laugh with Zarna Garg.
The Rozsa Center regretfully announced on Tuesday that comedian Zarna Garg will not come to campus for a planned show on Saturday due to a scheduling conflict on set. Garg has been working on the set of a new show in development with CBS. The series will feature Garg as a proud immigrant mother searching for her own American Dream.
Rozsa Center Executive Director Kiersten Birondo says the theater is disappointed Garg will not visit this weekend. However, the opportunity offers comedy fans a chance to build more excitement in anticipation of Garg’s return in 2026. Ticket holders have been contacted, and all tickets for the show on Saturday will be refunded. Birondo adds the Rozsa Center appreciates the community’s understanding as the Rozsa center turns toward other big shows coming to campus.
Keweenawawsomefest kicks off next week and is followed by the Don Keranen Jazz Festival. Another big show closing out the Rozsa’s season will feature the Michigan Tech Theater program and Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra for an on-stage performance of Sweeny Todd.
