Keweenaw Co-Op named among the Top 50 Companies to Watch in Michigan

Keweenaw Co-Op named Michigan Celebrates Small Businesses as the Top 50 Companies to Watch in 2025. The Keweenaw Co-op was recently awarded a spot among MCSB’s top 50 companies to watch list, recognizing outstanding achievements in the past year while maintaining growth-oriented goals for the future. SBAM CEO Brian Calley says small businesses are the backbone of Michigan, while at a ceremony announcing the recent award winners in Lanising at the Breslin Center. General Manager Curt Webb and Interim GM Denise Hansen met with Representative Greg Markkanen and Senator Ed McBroom while in Lansing to advocate for programs that strengthen local food systems, such as Double Up Food Bucks, and the MDARD Regional Food Systems Infrastructure Grants.
