As students work through another spring semester on campus, some students will begin preparing for life after college. Tomorrow Michigan Technological University will host the annual student spring career fair at the student development complex. The career fair has invited more than 150 companies to Houghton, all in search of qualified, knowledgeable, and driven students ready to start their careers. As many as 7,000 students take part in Michigan Technological University’s two annual career fairs and receive opportunities to interview for life-changing roles.
During the career fair the university will limit travel near the student development complex. Cemetery Road will become one-way. The reroute will accommodate the career fair’s parking. Vehicles will travel eastbound on Macinnis Drive toward Woodmar Drive. Vehicles traveling west from the Royalwood location will need to seek an alternative route during the day. The spring career fair will begin at noon. The travel restriction will remain in place from 10 am to 5 pm.
