Neil Young and his new band, the Chrome Hearts, are embarking on a world tour this summer in support of their upcoming album, Talkin’ to the Trees. The 24-date trek starts in Rättvik, Sweden on June 18, and concludes in Los Angeles on September 15. “Music unites!” Young wrote of the tour on his website. “We will be there with you! Join us as we celebrate the Summer of Democracy. Old songs and new songs. Long jams! We will come together this summer. The Chrome Hearts and I are ready for you!” After taking a hiatus due to health issues that caused an early end to his 2024 tour with Crazy Horse, Young formed the Chrome Hearts and received critical acclaim for their initial performances. The band recorded their new album with famed producer Lou Adler, and released its lead single, “Big Change,” in January, though no release date has been announced for the record. Presale for the tour begins on Tuesday (February 25) followed by the general on-sale on Friday (February 28). (Rolling Stone)
