High School
Girls regional basketball finals will be played tonight…
- Ewen-Trout Creek will face Norway in a game that tips off at 7:00 at Marquette High School. St. Ignace and Inland Lakes are on the other side of the bracket.
- Calumet faces Manton in a game that begins at 7:00 at Newberry High School. Coverage will begin at 6:40 on the Voice of the Copper Kings, KBear 102.3. Roscommon and Sanford Meridian are on the other side of the bracket.
On the boys side, Forest Park is headed to the state semifinals. The Trojans shaded Pickford 45-43 in their quarterfinal game last night. They’ll face defending champion Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian tomorrow at 5:30 at the Breslin Center, with coverage on 99.1 WIKB. Fowler and Allen Park Inter-City Baptist will play in the other semifinal.

The Red Wings entertain the Sabers tonight. Coverage will begin at 7:15 on 99.3 The Lift.
NBA
The Pistons outscored the Wizards 123-103 last night. Cade Cunningham had 27 points and 10 assists. Jalen Duren had 15 points and 13 rebounds.

The Bucks fell 115-114 to the Pacers last evening. Indiana’s Tyrese Haliburton was fouled while sinking a three-pointer in the closing seconds to tie the contest. He converted the free throw for the game-winner. Brook Lopez scored 23. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 19 points and 17 rebounds.
The Bucks welcome the Lakers tomorrow.
MLB
The Tigers shaded the Braves 3-1 yesterday. Jack Flaherty tossed four scoreless innings. Jace Jung homered.
The Tigers face the Rays this afternoon. Casey Mize will start against Ryan Pepiot.
The Brewers outslugged the Cubs 9-7 yesterday. The teams combined to score nine runs in the first inning. Jacob Misiorowski gave up four of them. Rhys Hoskins, Vinny Capra, Jake Bauers and Oliver Dunn homered.
Milwaukee has today off, and will play the White Sox tomorrow.
Little League
